Developmental Edits
Do you have a full-length manuscript? Are you looking for guidance on big-picture concerns such as plot, structure, character dynamics, continuity, and accumulation? Have you gotten all the advice you can squeeze out of your friends and family? Then developmental edits might be the next step for your project.

What I offer: a full read of your work-in-progress, marginal notes, and a 5-10 page feedback letter with suggested improvements, acknowledgement of what is already working, and how to weigh both in order to move forward. This also includes a phone call to discuss my feedback and brainstorm your revision goals.

Line Edits
Ready to send your manuscript out to an agent, press, or self publish but want to make sure the prose sparkles? Then what you might be looking for are line edits. What I offer are tracked-changes for grammatical, syntactical, and other proofreading suggestions, notes in the margins on voice, style, and poetics, as well as a 2 page editorial letter, and a follow-up phone conversation to discuss my recommendations and answer remaining questions.
